MAGNETIC POWDER TESTING

Magnetic particle inspection is used to detect defects near and on surfaces of ferromagnetic materials such as cast iron and steel. This method exploits the laws of magnetism to detect defects. We use mobile and flexible employees who are on site promptly.
This saves long waiting times!

For magnetic particle testing, we have our own testers with certification according to DIN EN 473, ISO 9712 and Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC.

In magnetic particle testing, the test object is first magnetized and brought into contact with a test medium containing magnetizable particles. These follow the magnetic field lines as they seek the lowest resistance. Areas of poor magnetic conductivity, such as cracks, are thus made clearly visible in the form of a flow change or by accumulation along the crack geometry.

You do not have to wait long for the results of the examination. Test reports are issued on site, directly after the test.
