They follow the magnetic field lines, as they seek the least resistance and as they make clearly visible the magnetically poor conductive areas, such as cracks in the form of a change in flow or by accumulation along the crack geometry.
To reinforce the visual effect, the ferromagnetic particles are additionally enclosed in a fluorescent manner and the efficiency and validity of the Magnetic particle testing in Müller & Stahl company is thus optimized.
